Affinity Counseling Group is a community-based organization involved
in systemic therapy, training and research to address a wide range of individual, family and community issues. Affinity
was developed by a group of social workers who recognized a need to offer high quality, innovative systems thinking and therapy
to families in crisis, particularly to marginalized populations. Utilizing a team approach with therapists specializing in
various fields and paraprofessionals with rich community-building experience, Affinity is committed to bringing the possibility
of "community" to all people, especially to those who are disenfranchised.
The mission of Affinity Counseling Group
is to empower all persons to contribute meaningfully to their relationships and community; to engage families in working collaboratively
toward community and social justice; and to respect, support and forward the rights of all people including youth, women,
